Movie: Rope
Rope is one of my favorite Hitchcock movies. Apart from the amazing direction, the entire film appears as a single continuous shot, what I find truly fascinating is the script and the cast. James Stewart is in it and he is awesome, brilliant performances by John Dall and Farley Granger as well. Much of the film is based on the idea that one might murder someone just to prove that one could, there are references to Nietzsche and to Crime and Punishment. In this film we know the crime and we know the killers but who is really the one to blame? Just watch the movie! :D
