Andrei visits his father in order to announce to him that he plans to marry Natasha Rostova. Prince Bolkonsky, of course, is as annoying as ever and he tries his utmost to changa Andrei’s mind. He says that in order to give his blessing Andrei should postpone the marriage for a year and if he still feels the same, he can go ahead and marry her. Natasha is absolutely delighted and she agrees to marry Andrei. However, she is not at all happy about the fact that the marriage can only take place after 1 year.
