Greetings & Guten Tag! Here is the Third & Final Installment of my Self-casting, Mythology induced, Photo picspam! This time it is several titans whom I hold dear and find the most interesting, and the well promised castings of Hestia & Dioynsus! And some mortals that needed to be mentioned for some of the other characters. With all of these now done, please enjoy this all! It was quite fun for me to search and find the photos and to put everything together! I hope you enjoy them as well!

These will help you understand this posting. In choosing for the Titans, I chose the two who are the parents of the god, and the grandparents of the semi-mortals and immortal grandchildren.

Catherine Tate || Hestia : Goddess of the Hearth, Private & Municipal Homes, & Sacrificial Flames
Reason: Casting Hestia was literally one of the hardest castings that I have had to do for this. Although I really didn't want to cast her, when I was re-watching Doctor Who, it hit me that Catherine Tate would make a good Hestia, she has the attitude and that ability to make one take notice and watch her. Which I loved, and she has a homey and warm feeling sometimes.
Johnny Weir || Dioynsus : God of Wine, Vegetation, Pleasure & Festivity
Reason: This is extremely a self-indulgent casting of mine, since this god was quite hard to cast and I figured what would be similar to the extravagances of everything. And I figured after seeing the photos of Johnny, that he'd be the best, and considering what he lords over, I figured seeing Johnny interact as Dioynsus would be fascinating.
Maria Doyle Kennedy || Mnemosyne : Titan Goddess of Memory & Remembrance
Reason: After capturing my eye as Katherine of Aragon from the Tudors, and reading more about Mnemosyne, I believe that Maria would do a great job of portraying her. Although she is younger than those who portray her siblings, I felt that she always bring a sense of deep thought and age to her characters and who better to portray that than the Goddess of Memory & of Remembrance, it also felt quite right of a post.
Kristin Scott Thomas || Themis : Titan Goddess of Equality, Divine Law & Order [the Most Ancient Prophet]
Reason: Gorgeous, Beautiful [And the first wife of Zeus], KST looks the part of a woman in control and who knows what is right and wrong and what can be challenged. Considering that Themis was a power in her own right and an Oracle, KST has the feel of someone in that position and having her rival with Dian Kruger would be intense and lovely. Besides, considering who she's casted with, she can hold her own.
Dame Maggie Smith || Rhea : Queen of Heaven & Titan Goddess of Female Fertility, Motherhood, Comfort & Ease
Reason: The Mother of the Gods, the rescuer of Zeus, the Queen of Heaven and of Motherhood. Who better than a fierce HBIC to be the matriarch of such a dysfunctional family, Dame Maggie brings such a presence, grace and force to a role that seeing her act against Sir Christopher Lee would be electrifying and the cast of the Gods as well. it rounds out an amazing cast. Besides, its McGonagall!!
Sir Christopher Lee || Kronos : King of Heaven & Titan God of Time & the Ages
Reason: Because it is SIR Christopher Fucking Lee, one bad ass man. He served in the RAF & SOE during World War II, been in 264 films and holds the Guinness Record because of it, he's a knight, a legend, an icon. And because who better to play the father of Zeus, than a man who is so distinguished and the God of Time & the Ages... it is quite fitting.
Aishwarya Rai || Queen Mother of the Sea, Nereid, the Goddess of the Sea, Seals & Dolphin [Wife of Poseidon]
Reason: This happens to be one of the most beautiful women in the world, and I can definitely see her being the representative of the Sea, in all tis beauty and wildness. I've heard her sing, and the sounds of Sirens come to mind like Nereids and I wanted to cast in her something but I've always seen as being connected to water and this was perfect.
Justin Hartley || Helios : Titan God the Sun [Husband of Rhode]
Reason: Because this man is a ray of golden sunshine, and is quite delicious. He plays a fabulous Oliver Queen on Smallville and could definitely play the role of a cocky Titan, the representative of the Sun. His sense of timing is quite good and would easily mesh with the Semi-Immortals and Mortals of the Bunch but could also hold his own among his fellow titans, as easily seen on Smallville. Besides, he's a cute and hunky blonde!
Leighton Meester || Psyche : Goddess of the Soul [Wife of Eros]
Reason: Considering the history behind Psyche, and considering that I have a growing fondness for Leighton, I envisioned her playing a modern day version in this sense. She is very gorgeous and has an air of soft beauty thats understated. I like her as an actress and figured that this would be a good role for her to play and dabble with. Once a mortal who married and than was given the ascension of immortality.
Jonathon Rhys Meyers || Zephyros : God of the West Wind
Reason: the Fierce West Wind, Rival to Apollo for the love of Hyacinth. This man would be someone strong, fierce, wild and controlled all at once. His roles bring that to the screen, especially in Velvet Goldmine & The Tudors. JRM is one hot and intense man, and he'd be perfect to put against Chris Pine and not to mention the Titans and the Gods, of whom he has a past with. JRM can handle the dark nitty gritty roles and would be perfect.
