Freedom!
My exams are over! YES!
I can't believe it! My first semester of university is over! More importantly though, I'm going back to Shanghai in 5 days! :D
Been buying Singaporean foodstuffs, literally by the dozens, to bring back to my family which I miraculously managed to fit into one luggage and one carry-on. (I think I may have inherited my mother's superior packing skills. Will wait for the night before flying off when all the last minute things go in before confirming this.)
These few post-exam days have been packed to the brim with AWESOME. I managed to catch Megamind with a pair of my primary school friends on the 28th. It's a really lovely movie, totally predictable, but so well done you forgive them. I mean, come on, it's a Dreamworks film! You can't go wrong there. Also, I could not get over how lovely Megamind's green eyes were. I've got a weird obsession with eyes. When you're Asian with a choice between black and brown-black, ang-moh eyes make for a fascinating study and Megamind's were especially divine.
The next day, I caught the Hetalia movie went with some of the lovely gals I met on Hetalia day. There was a massive downpour as we were walking to the rather out-of-the-way cinema and we were literally soaked down to our knickers, but you know what? Totally worth it.
After the movie, the only thing my brain could give me was Oh god, Germany, oh GOD! ♥
I am so getting the DVD when it's out next year.
Unfortunately, it was still raining even after the movie had ended so we found a place to sit down and just chatted, which was more fun than the movie itself. Coincidentally, there were 5 of us and somehow, I became the Russia of the group, which was fine by me as I got to freak out our lovely nervy/adorable America for the rest of the day with the help of my France. Ah, good times, good times. Thanks for all the laughs daemon_angelus :D
I think I expended more energy than customary though, and only woke at 1:30pm today. Spent the rest of the day cleaning up my room, piling up all the items that need to be brought back to SH at the foot of my bed and checking off my pre-fight To Do list.
A few more things to look forward to would be my GLEE-out with faith_winged tomorrow and the lunch-and-movie outing with all my Dunman High pals the day before I fly off.
