Tuesday Night
So Tuesday I started feeling sick. Not something that's happened since last Summer. I felt a slight headache on shift, also some weird nausea. I let it pass, that night I started feeling pretty bad and coughing up junk. I decided to go in for Wednesday, seeing as I had Thursday off and Friday left to work. I usually have Saturdays and Sundays off.
Wedenesday morning I woke up at 05:50 and felt like garbage but knew I had a short day. It sucked but I powered through it. A day passes and at the insistence of my Mother who I had talked to on the phone, I took a Covid-19 test, even though I felt like this was just a bad headcold. But I took a Binax Now test and shit came up postive real quick. So no work Friday. I'll see if I can go back on Monday, but I'm on the fence.
Anyway, been trying to take it easy and not worry over the Project 2025 revelations. I voted Democrat once in 2012, and I'll do it again and again. This Covid has been quite mild and the headache and nausea haven't been felt since Tuesday night. Very weird, but I suspect I got it from some dude who was brought as a +1 to club event. Motherfucker was sneezing and shit like crazy, "I don't have Covid."
No one asked, but thanks for getting all of us sick. Asshole.
Update, went to work Wednesday the following week and I was pretty much good.
