It's a gorgeous day outside-the sun is so lovely, the temperature is just right, and the shade is wonderful because the leaves have opened their green leaves up to the sun. Cross country went really well. We ran about four miles today, and I ran with Naomi, who just came back from spending a year in Brazil, and Amanda. They are so funny. The run just went so easy because I was able to talk and laugh with them. That's the way life should be, you know, with people that care about you and that make you feel so welcome. It's always important to know that those people are out there, and that God is there too. We have our first race tomorrow, and I'm a little nervous, but our team is so supportive. One thing that I really love about our team is that we pray before every race. It helps to know that we will not be running alone, because God will be there and will be right alongside us the entire race. It's my last week of summer, and I have homework to do for Honors English and AP Biology. It isn't my favorite thing in the world, but oh well. Hope everyone is doing awesome! Today is Hawaii day at Band Camp, so I need to pick out something fun to wear. Talk to everyone soon.
