My beta is happy and that section of the story is ready to post - as soon as I have a title for it!

Here is a little bit;

But her emotions, she admitted, were still mixed. This, he realised, was familiar to him. He had also done the task assigned to him, helped so many escape from Gondolin, then fought off the Balrog - only to die in what he felt was an inglorious and unnecessary manner, pulled down with the defeated Balrog by a handful of his own hair.

He had made his peace with himself. Now he would help Mírimien do the same.

What are the choices?

I was considering What Glorfindel Did Next, and then remembered a song S2C likes and thought 'Somebody That I used to Know', would work well.

I have decided to go with the second one.

So I have just posted that chapter to my journal - along with the picture I use as my Glorfindel icon.

I do like What Glorfindel Did Next, but the other is a bit more elegant.

Oh yes, 'Somebody That I used to Know' is a really good, evocative title (may I confess that, as someone who is very bad at them, my best have all been borrowed from somewhere else? :)
