"The Dispossessed" - the story I'm currently working on (basically a very AU version of the 1st Season Enterprise episode "Fusion" - is nearing its end, despite the fact that I had little time to write in the recent couple of days. But I've őproduced a few paragraphs today again, and have tentative hopes to finish this thing before our current section ends. *fingers crossed*

Excerpt:
And so the Enterprise crew took their leave from the V'tosh ka'tur who continued their way of self-exploration among the stars, while Enterprise finished mapping the Arachnid Nebula and returned to their original course. Another nameless planet marked on the Elachi map waited for its secrets to be unveiled. But while some aboard the Earth ship (Jack definitely and T'Pol presumably) were glad to see the Vahklas gone, others had different feelings about it. The engineers belonged to these group as a whole. Charlie Tucker in particular was sad to say good-bye to his Vulcan counterpart whom he had come to genuinely like during their cooperation.

That sounds as if it is drawing nicely to a conclusion.

I hope so! Also, Chapter 2 is typed up and posted to otherworlds_lib for test reading.

It has not been a good couple of days for writing - I have thought quite a bit of how to fit the different threads together but in the end today I managed... 2 sentences!

Here they are;

“There is no-one of her blood within the Halls,” Cambasion said.

It took a number of conversations for Glorfindel to realise exactly what the Maia meant.

But was at a crafting morning and made a thing...

Oh, lovely! What materials is it made of?

And hey, two sentences are progress, too! Especially such mysterious ones. *g*

It's a polystyrene ring with lots of small squares of fabric poked into it using the end of a fine knitting needle or something similar - they are glued into place by putting a dab of glue on the back of each scrap before you poke it into place.

Wow! That sounds like a lot of fussy work, I admire your patience.

Just 106 words today but because I had a good day yesterday I'm still on target.

That was, I think, 80 more than me!

But you wrote some words. Any forward movement is good, even if it's just a small step.

As long as you can stay on target it's still good.

260 more words of the Snowbug the Spider Demon story (no, I am not planning to title it that :) Not a lot has actually happened yet, so I am hoping to get an idea for that...

260 words is good - and here's wishing you a fascinating and suitable plot line!

I am not good with plots, but somehow a fierce corpse trying to look after a baby spider demon - and everyone's reaction to them both - could be enough fun in themselves!

Well, an actual plot might come in handy. *g*
Good luck!
