Rosie's Song

May 05, 2004 11:31

You and your boys,
With your innocent ploys,
You've got your rat race in check.
And yet you complain,
Say you suffer in vain,
You say that you've got it worse.
You ignore your hearts,
For more sentient parts.
Your head is no more
Than a paperweight.
For some of you guys,
Your check is your prize.
Yet you still feel
You're done wrongs against.
Some come home to wives,
From supposed hard knocking lives,
And project your inadequacies.
Oh your two loving kids,
And a fence of whitewashed pickets,
Are all that are keeping you tied.
Your eyes only see,
As far as you pee,
Your target, your loved ones,
Your victims.
If you think it hurts,
To wear a jock strap and jeans,
You should try hose and a skirt.
