Video Friday: 3 (Loosely) for Valentine's day
Willie Hutch, Passion Pit, and Arthur Russell for your Valentine's day weekend. Video Friday returns.
Willie Hutch, "I Choose You", from the Mack, possibly the most interesting movie made about pimping. And a soundtrack filled with samples you have heard.
Passion Pit, "Little Secrets" (which is now my JAM) - a much bigger sound than the other two videos, and very... Atari video game vs. late 70's escapist space sci-fi. Also, I have no desire to fly into the sun. But damn, I cannot put down this song.
Arthur Russell's "A Little Lost" (with a fan-made video) - the animation is pretty interesting, even if I'm not sure it always fits.
