your thoughts on my query
Kids, I am totally balls at querying. In fact I am so balls at it that the last time I queried was four years ago, for a book that's been sitting on my HD finished since Feb 2009. God's almighty damn I hate querying, because I can't do that Clever Marketing Voice thing that seems to works so well nowadays. Hargh.
But I'm sick of BAPT sitting around and being all D:, so I'mma give it another shot.
This site gives the outline of how one queries, and this site gives a great example query. Ugh argh I don't know how to do this, but I'm scrapping my old version and trying anew.

In a city cut off from the rest of the world, a Library lives off the lives on its shelves. Each person in the city is in that Library, alive or dead, and taking care of those books are the Librarians.
Librarians write books, too, making new lives for the Library. Twelve Librarians, in a project, write twelve new books, with their own ideals, justices, and dreams caught up on them. But no book ever turns out exactly as its author plans, and these books, when they are born, are born as children, into a city that spares no one.
Eight and Four, written into paragons by their authors, are thrown into a city that takes no perfection. Those in the project might watch the one’s crimes and the other’s struggles, but once a book is born, the only one with the power to end that life is the Librarian Who Closes Books.
