Ignorance

Told the girls we couldn't have cross country on Friday because their beloved captain would be on the couch for three days watching 'Naruto-Fest 2007', which is what I dubbed it. Got up early to watch it from beginning to end meaning the good that came from this three day bash is my sleeping habits are back to somewhat normal for the upcoming school year. Broke my cross country diet by eating lots and lots of junk food. Hee hee, I'm not fat and I run so I could afford it. Hadn't seen most of the chuunin exam episodes, well technically they were the siege on Konoha episodes but whatever. Then I missed most of the Naruto training with Jiraiya and him learning rasengan. Since cross country, a social life, and school is what I focus on during most of the year I tend to miss parts of the series. I'd also rather not download the episodes since they're dubbed, badly, in english. If the three day marathon took place during school, I would've probably never watched it.

I'm a geek, and I have no regrets!

Except two people ticked me off royally this weekend. One was being an asshole because I was watching it. Calling me 'obsessed', a f*cking nerd, then telling me to go make out with Sasuke. Yeah, that would be true but I never actually talk about the series too often since most of the people I know don't like it. Also Sasuke is gay, so much hidden sexual tension between him and Naruto, god. Just because he's my favorite character alongside Ino doesn't mean I'm a fangirl who swoons over him. The fact he's an evil, little bastard is why I think he's awesome. Well the person didn't even insult me properly since they spelled Sasuke's name wrong. -_- Then the other person, one of my bestest buddies, was just kind of being an idiot. The ignorance and lack of tolerance some people have is annoying. I like what I like. Get over it and stop pointing it out to me especially since I never really ever talk about anime around my friends at school unless they are the few who like it. Just because it's animated doesn't mean it's suitable for children. Watch it and become slightly less ignorant.

Also if you watch 'One Piece', you have no right to make fun of me.

Anywho, it's not like I walk around yelling 'Believe It!' or 'Dattebayo!' while wearing a headband and constantly sucking down ramen. I have a life and anime is something I enjoy from time-to-time. Also I'm not as obsessed as some people, I can usually go days without seeing a show.

Rant aside. I'm still in geeky mode. This weekend I have gained a new found appreciation for Chouji, he's kickass. Also Hayate is amazing, but dead, damn. Still have love for Ino and Sasuke though.

This week is SAT Prep class, Tuesday and Thursday night, with Peer Pals on Wednesday, haircut on Friday, tie-dye party on Saturday, and cross country all week long. Now the team officially has a coach. I'll be doing something with Cassie this week, too. :]
