You have to see this movie. Maybe. It will make uber patriots furious. Although, it's more of an indictment on human nature (ok...it's reeeaaallly harsh on the U.S) than on the U.S but what if we need a mirror and to stare ourselves in the eye...really?
Anyway, I don't know why but tonight I'm reflective and analyzing movies. It's Dogville and Edward Scissorhands. I just can't believe how much I love both of these movies. Dogville because it's so frickin inflammatory...and Edward Scissorhands because it is too, in a different way. He proves there are worse things than being a cripple. (Just kidding about the cripple thing.) But have you ever felt like a total freak? Have you ever loved something dangerous but gentle?
I don't know. Lately, I have felt poised on the brink of a revolution. like, all this political discussion... The world is fucked up. And the more I hear, the worse it seems.
