Wyldrvir is a very short, “lighthearted” high fantasy game, and I think it earns those titles.

Choose five aspects, assign a different dice to each one. Roll that and a d20 for your action.
If one of those aspects is magic, then it works as normal but use the “Wild magic” table each time you don’t do well enough. I have mixed feelings on basing a game entirely on self-appointed aspects because you are rewarded for choosing flexible, powerful terms; however Wyldrvir has something I really like: examples. A lot of examples. And they are put together as six line templates that you can just use.
The other thing I really like about Wyldrvir is that they have done something really quite unusual with the races and monsters. Yes, elves, but also Eidolons, Kobalol and Mothfolk. But also, the sentient species are all friendly. It wants you to go on adventures with friends, not to slay monsters but to use non-harmful means to deal with the vast array of original monsters.
In other words: this is cozy, high action fantasy. Good job!
Wyldrvir has pirates. But because it’s cozy, pirates seek unnatural weather and sea monsters which need hugs (ok, that last part may be exaggerated for effect). So let’s introduce Captain Hunger Blossoming, the hungriest pirate of them all. Needless to say her quests involve plenty of opportunities for tasting new and exotic foods.
- D12 - Captain of the Horizon Traveller
- D10 - I know the way to food
- D8 - The Way of the Sea
- D6 - Cartographer
- D4 - Magic of the winds
Hunger Blossoming is a Moon Elf, and so can speak to sea life. A bit.
And coming from Meratoll, Hunger Blossoming gets:
