Left lung, right lung

For no particular reason, I did some stretching on Sunday, and on Monday decided to do some sit-ups before getting out of bed.  Since this made me feel better, I did a bit more stretching.  I didn't quite feel up to anything more that day, but it was clear that something had shifted.  Tuesday morning I woke up feeling like I was half-choking.  Once I cleared the blockage, my lungs started shifting of their own accord.  I helped them along with hypertonic saline and an inhaler (and later that evening, with some no.21 to open the lungs wider).  I did a lot of work that morning, clearing quite a bit (although not as much as if I was ill), and my osteopath helped me relax at my appointment later in the morning.  Since then I have been feeling quite a lot better (so much so that I went to two meetings last night, not one).

Fairly typically, only the left lung shifted to begin with, so today I started work on my right lung (by targeted breathing, applying pressure and stubborn determination).  Even with hypertonic saline I don't think I did a particularly complete job, but even what I did manage is starting to have an impact.

Now, you may be saying (or not) that I should have expected this.  That if I'm tired and getting out of breath easily that I should look to my lungs.  I did.  I didn't find anything I could move.  I even tried exercise, which made me feel better but didn't really get anything moving.  I have no idea what circumstances really prompted it, since my initial 'stretching' wasn't much at all.  At least now I can think a bit more positively about the near future.
