Unfortunately we are talking about my sleep here, since I'm far, far too unfit to cycle. It turns out that the hypnosis isn't working magically.  I guess that isn't that much surprise but I hoped it would be enough to restore me to normality. Monday night suffered from the whole, "crash on the sofa when you get back, don't sleep properly until 4am" shebang.  Tuesday in contrast I couldn't crash because I had a big meeting in the evening. After 'winding down' by writing some vampire messages, I eventually got to bed at 1am.  When I woke at 6am then I was a bit disappointed but against recent form I actually went back to sleep pretty quickly and woke again at 10.  So yay.

There is a But here.  I had osteopathy yesterday, so if it's only the treatment which allowed this night of sleep (or, say, sheer tiredness) then it might recur.  If all else fails, there is always Paul McKenna.
