So, yes, osteopathy yesterday. After the last few times where he was having quite a job to get everything to relax properly, it was good to find that all those problems were gone. There was still quite some work to do - when we did the initial stretch (bend to the right, bend to the left), I really found it difficult to move very far. My right diaphragm and ribs above it were remarkably tight. He also did some work on my mid-back, and finally some cranial work to ease some of my tension. Part of the treatment was aimed to help me stop waking up two hours early every day, and I think it worked somewhat - we shall see.
As always though, what's behind my condition is more important - or at least as interesting - as the treatment. It has been really nice to be able to do all this festival stuff. I admit that everything else has rather taken a back seat (I still have unsorted boxes from the pharmacy from a month ago), but there is quite a difference between saying, "I am not sure if I will be able to help at the festival" and "I am not sure if I will be able to go to the festival". My problem at the moment is that I am slightly stretched thin. I may indeed have more reliable energy at the moment, but it is still finite and still vastly less than a healthy* person's. I am also aware that, without a port, the onus is really on me to stay healthy so I don't need intravenous antibiotics. No pressure then!
I haven't posted since then, but shortly after my last fuel price report, it dropped back down to 117.9 pence/litre.
