Geez, when did Smallville get so good? I could have sworn that just last year I was watching the show out of habit as opposed to enjoyment. But now, I actually look forward to my Thursdays. WEEIRD. Anyway, I made a picspam of the episode, or at least a top 5 6 favorite things about Legion. I actually attempted to make a complete full episode picspam...but I have no patience so I stopped a twenty minutes in. I have no willpower and neither does my computer. I give major kudus to people who can actually sit still and color, sharpen, resize, and add quotes. By the way, I stole borrowed the black bars on the side format from

06. The Legion
Say whaaat? A visitor of the week I actually like? Preposterous! Thinking back there are only a handful of FoTWs that I really remember and enjoyed. Then there are the Maximas that I wish I could wipe off the face of existence. Despite a slight cheese factor, the Legion was quite the entertaining bunch. Garth was such the fanboy and for that I just fell in love with him.
05. Alexz Johnson
It's nice to see Alexz on my television screen instead of the miniature, low quality Noggin player on the internet I'm stuck with. I will admit, I wasn't too fond of Imra and her slightly overbearing ways and extremely proper English but Alexz can do no wrong in my eyes. But every time I watched her, I kept wanting her to break out in song a la Jude Harrison.
04. Chloe/Clark Scene
Le sigh. Sometimes I really wonder why I don't ship Chloe and Clark because they have this unparalleled connection that is incredibly strong. The thing I loved most about this scene was how gentle Clark was. He's a frikin' gentle giant. When he asked her if she was okay, I melted at Tom's choice of tone. It sounded almost boyish to me...quiet and relieved. I become a blob.
03. Chloiac/Davis/Clark
Excuse the sudden black and white coloring; the fortress scenes were a bitch to color. But holy crap, I love the way possessed!Chloe handled her men. Simultaneously combining harsh treatment with intense glances = mind combustion. Is it wrong to have enjoyed Chloe talking down to Davis? I say no. And then when Clark pushed Chloe up against the wall (ice? ice wall?) and she didn't even flinch? Hot. Like I said, I don't ship Clark and Chloe but I just wanted them to make out or something. On a side note, I am a little sad that Davis was only attracted to Chloe because of the Brainiac/Doomsday connection because I actually really wanted the two to get together.
02. Lana/Clark Scene
I'm normally really indifferent to the Clark/Lana relationship. I have no love for them but I don't hate them. But for the first time I actually got a little sad that they don't end up together. Because this new and improved Lana really rejuvenates the relationship. After seven seasons, Lana became kind of stale and one-dimensional. Gone was any character development and in its place was just a damsel in distress. And I don't always believe she always understood Clark. Yes, she accepted him for who he was but the sheer weight of all the burdens he carries was kind of invisible to her. But this new, independent Lana who stands up to Clark and chooses to take part in the action seems to understand. Anyway, this scene was so pretty, so yellow. Can they film all the scenes in front of the barn please? DUDE, KRISTEN KREUK IS INSANELY GORGEOUS. I don't know what people are talking about because this new hair is really working. It's miles better than the paper straight hair we are normally accustomed to.
01. Chloaic/Allison Mack
Allison Mack is my god. To be frank, I really wasn't expecting anything out of this world so when she first stepped on screen with her shoulders hunched and eerie posture, I got chills. True fact. The nonchalant mannerisms and the haunting strutting, that was kind of freaky. And the face? So vacant and cold yet incredibly expressive. Only Allison can twist her usually sunny smile into something so sinister. But for serious, Chloe needs to get possessed again because it was just so damn fun to watch her play this role.
