WOW

I can't believe it has been well over a year since I've last posted.

I've seen there are friends who are getting married...  others having a wonderful Easter...  and pets that are recovering from injuries.

Well to start off the hard parts of life.  Our dog Maddie Grace has been diagnosised with cancer earlier this year.  it on her muzzle.  It started off last July the size of a marble and we were told it will be fine just something to live with.  Unfortunately, she kept scratching at it and it got bigger.  Meds would work for awhile.  They did a biopsy and discovered cancer.  I was an upset mess for a week.  Took her for a second opinion.  The doctor said he would have removed it at the time of the first visit.  He did suggest contacting the vet hospital on the other side of Pittsburgh going towards the airport.  Which was the first doctor's suggestion too.  Went to the appointment and spent all day there.  The staff was wonderful.  The doctor had a look on her face like she had cried before she came in to give me the final results.  There were cancer cells in the neck lymph node.  The chest xray showed a nodule of cancer.  She said if i wanted a time frame to come back in two weeks.  I told her no that we could go from there and not worry about when.  If you would see her you would not realize she is so sick.  Maddie wants to play all the time and begs for treats.

Husband is still in the nursing program by the skin of his teeth.  This semester his classes changed every 5 weeks.  there were only 3 tests and he failed one badly.  He gets to start back in August.  I know he gets frustrated.  He had an IEP in school.  Found out from an instructor that the school could have worked with him regarding certain things for his classes.  Today he went to Little California to take a test to see what the school can do to help him with his studies.
We are hoping he will be graduating May of 2016.

Today was report card day for the kids.  Let's just say the eldest did not do well.  The youngest not too bad but neither one is due to have their electronics for a very long time.

Thursday I had my gall bladder out.  Suppose to be same day surgery however my body decided to disagree.  When they put me under my sleep apena kicked into high gear and they had to use special equipment to intibate me.  I was the last person for them to send home but I could stand longer than 3 seconds and I was sitting again.  I'm doing better.  Tired and twinges of pain.

The youngest child injured herself just before Christmas by tripping over shoes.  She just got off of crutches just before the 20th of March.  Waiting for the knee brace was a pain.  she needed an extra small.  company was out and sent a small which is way to big for her.  found out after that the company wanted to back order it till sometime in April.  the kid had already been waiting a month.  now she is back into physical therapy and has an appointment with her doctor in pittsburgh.

The eldest got to go with the marching band to Wash DC before Easter.  She had a good time but she is "so tired of teenage drama".  She came home from school today and said she just doesn't get all the agnst.

Getting tired again.  Need a nap.  Not sure what we are doing about dinner.  the kids came home from school and ate chinese leftovers.  so i have a small repreve for a bit longer.  hubby is finishing his paperwork for the ambulance because of course their computer crashes sunday morning and they are finally able to get it to work today.

OK enough complaining and rambling.
Thankful and happy for my family and friends
