ah!
It's been so long since I posted! I have lots of stuff to say, not sure if I'm going to get through all of it... I'll LJ cut, to keep it brief for those who don't care...
New Apartment
Love it, love it, love it. It's a lot bigger than our old one, in the same neighborhood but on a quiet residential street, and is between the two party streets (Division and Milwaukee). Shower has good water pressure, I have enough room for all of my stuff, huge kitchen and dishwasher that allows me to cook as much as I want to, we have a backyard, and central air.
Early Birthday Gifts
Matt gave me my bday presents early, i got a new bed (full, upsized from a twin), plus he bought bedding, and his mom gave me a quilt for it. He also got tix for the Morrissey show in Waukegan, in mid-Oct. Perfect. Everything.... perfect, but too much. like always. i have absolutely nothing to complain about, just that i cant repay, or compete with his gifts. its ok though, i dont think he gets them to give me guilt trips, so i need to give that up.

I am unbelievably happy. I have more to say about this, but ehhh... I might set up a private entry for that. No big announcements or anything, dont worry.
Sports
Go Cubs go!!! It looks like they're going to clinch the NL Central, but, I think they are going to lose in the first or second rounds of the playoffs. I predict World Series #2 for the BoSox... I havent been paying much attention to what they've been doing this year very much though, so I could be wrong on that. Tomorrow, me and Matt and his mom are going ot the Brewers/Cards game, I still havent decided whether or not it'd be tacky to wear Cubs apparel or not... i think Matt is, so I may as well... if we get heckled (which we will), then there'll be two of us.. annnnnd, Matt got tix to the first home playoff game, which is the 3rd of the series! so exciting!! Cant wait for that. Patriots -- the whole videotaping thing was really embarassing, but i think we've moved on, and killed 2 teams since then. Undefeated season, plus a superbowl? i hope so. moss is doing really well, and maroney is filling dillon's spot nicely, so things look good.
Personal Life
Kinda a lot of stuff going on, mentally, physically... etc. Things I need to change, but just can't. Getting to bed at a reasonable time is one, which I am actively not changing right now....
Work
Ah! Friday ended with me getting called into the general manager's office, with my boss sitting there, and me crying my eyes out for about 15 minutes out of anger, and hatred. Not good. I just need to take those emotions, and put them into my work, and use that as a type of revenge, to show how damned good i can be at doing my job. i have a game plan.
