Everything I said yesterday about making customer service calls that didn't happen, apparently will happen today. At some point very soon I shall be receiving all the relevant AVON info so that I can respond to voice mail queries. My stomach has gone south of of my shoes. I am once again frightened and quite pissed ( Read more... )

I know you don't want to do it, but if you do need any help, let me know. This is my field, after all. But is it seriously Avon? As in, makeup and skincare and stuff??

Honestly, I think it's just temperment and personality. I've been doing this since 98, and it's not as if I don't have days when it drives me batty and I want to call the clients stupid. Recently I've been under a TON of stress trying to learn this new software. I think the hardest thing is that you're supposed to be the one with all the answers, and sometimes, you don't have them. I hate when I don't meet the client's expectations. As hard as it may be, try to look at this as an experience to learn, and find out where other talents might lie. It sounds as though this isn't for you, but at least you can now say you know that for certain and can avoid such jobs in the future.

So are these Avon people coming right after to the Swan??? Let me know so I can avoid them. I don't dislike Avon products (Mary Kay is much worse IMO) but I don't want to be sold anything but HP and Disney stuff in the next week. :))
