So it's pretty late and I'm chilling up in the crib listening to some tunes on the headphones. I've been doing nothing but homework this weekend, and I was about to lose my mind there for a bit. It was a close call but I made it through....somehow. I have to write a letter fro religion. It must be to myself, from God.......*cough*
Dear Laura,
I'm thinking that the road through salvation is not through your homework and you should never, EVER have to waste you precious time on this Earth with it ever, EVER again! Don't worry about you're teachers, just tell them God said so.
~I mean come on, I go to a Catholic school, how could they say no to that. Then again, they'll probably lynch me for impersonating the Pope.~
This weekend was pretty lax. Friday was Kevin's birthday so I went over to Shane's right after school and chilled with some people, went out to dinner and watched some CLASSIC Star Wars trilogy. That's right, how ooberly cool are we? Pretty damn cool I tell you what....yea King of the Hill. ANYway, I was too tired to really enjoy the night. Weeks and weeks of going to bed at 2am is really starting to catch up with me. So Saturday I swore to myself I wouldn't leave the house and I would kick ass on some homework....which of course didn't really happen. I got a little bit of my collegio project done, but then I cracked and went to watch some movies with some friend's at Clinton's grandma's house. Dawn of the Dead was amazingly bad and funny all at the same time. Not scary at all, which relieved me greatly considering how I delt with The Ring when I saw it awhile back *shudders*. And American Pie 2, a classic, lol. NOt the best of the bunch, but hey, I still need to see American Wedding one of these days.
So today I'm lying in bed, looking at my alarm and debating whether I should sleep the extra half hour, seeing as I woke up before the awful beeping was due to commence; when my celly starts buzzing on my bedside table. It's my Matt who has to drop his buddy David back at the airport and was driving back from San Fran. So we talked for like 5 hours...it was crazy. So much for getting an early start on homework. It was good talking to him, but I really do need to see him in person again. It's so different when he's actually here. Only four more days until he gets in on that 10:50pm flight. I'm actually still debating about whether or not I should meet him at the airport.....I mean, his mother will be there and that may be kind of awkward. I'd have to get a ride to the airport, say hey, and then just go back home cuz it's so late. I gather his mother wouldn't exactly be thrilled at the idea of her son running off with me the minute he gets back home. But meh, who cares.
Last week was pretty damn stressful, and I'm so glad it's over. But I'm lucky to go to school with some really sweet girls who always manage to make me feel a little better. Thanks to Kelly and Malia, I really did appreciate the kindness last weak. hey and Brittney, I'm glad all that messiness eventually worked out huh? ^_^ firecrotches come together!....ahem, anywhooo
So! IN conclusion, the holidays are coming!!! Halleluyah!!!!! Deck the halls, and cut down that cedar in the back yard, cuz the break is coming, and it's going to kick ass. It's going to kick a lot of ass
