Tonight I reaaaaalllly missed uconn. I just got a call from my 4 best friends up there (who were extremely shitfaced) and I just couldn't help thinking 'wow. I should be there with them. But instead where am I? Home. Bored shitless.' [then again, I dunno whether I would want to be there on account of I don't really drink anymore]
I mean, I know that for all intents and purposes, I'm right where I need to be at this stage in my life. I really am. I'm starting to buy a bit into that predestination thing. There have just been far too many coincidences and impeccable timings for me to think otherwise. But it is still hard sometimes to not be where I *thought* I'd be.
ANYWHO....in business news. having some difficulties in securing a location for our cart.
We're also now looking into about 6 more locations (2 Home Depots and 4 Lowe's) on Monday. Mostly as backup (I think we're pretty intent on getting into Danbury Lowe's). But I personally like all of them based strictly on geographic location. They're all within 15 miles (most are actually within 5) of New Britain, and therefore Brittany!
Speaking of which, I'm headin up to Central next Saturday to spend the day with her again! =D So I'ma gunna be havin another fantastical day soon...which is sorely needed hahaha.
Anywho. That's really all that's new and exciting. Later Days

- -Fairfield Home Depot: They wanted us, but didn't want to give up their space for us.
- -Bridgeport Home Depot: Too..."urban" >.> plus they have Joe's Steakhouse...which although we could kick, we don't want to.
- -Norwalk Home Depot: *I* liked it and it had the best numbers, but my dad thought it was too "urban" and just didn't like it.
- -Danbury Home Depot: We're told that they have a Dippin Dots place in there..circa April of this year..but I've been in there about 4 times since then...and there ain't a damn thing in there. Maybe there was a delay in getting them in there, but they're working on getting in? Maybe they gave up. We dunno. Still investigating.
- -Derby Home Depot: Encountering some resistance, but a good possibility
- -Danbury Lowe's: Least resistance. Management there seems pumped to get us in there. Just waiting on corporate approval. Biggest problem is we aren't being given a solid number for their foot traffic.
