(no subject)
Well i am here in jolly old england! Actually I have been here for a while now I guess. I am at the grandparentals house in London at the moment. I took a tran down from Hull on monday which was 2 hours delayed because of a broken down freight train in front of us. I wasn't that bothered because i got to watch a beautiful sunset over the english countryside...too bad i didn't have anyone to share it with, but elton john singing 'don't let the sun go down on me' was good enough.
Yesterday was a brdal extravaganza. I met up with Katie and we went to get her dress fitted but it wasn't exactly right so we had to go back later in the day. The dress is gorgeous and I can't wait for everyone to see it (me and her mom are the only ones who have so far). I have basically taken over the position of maid of honor from Ceri because I was there to learn how to fix the veil and make sure the tiara is right and how to put the train up inside the dress for the reception...i didn't realize being a bridesmaid was such hard work but I am getting a little stressed about it.
I went out with Lisa last night to a Sushi bar round where she lives. It was so much fun and I am really glad I got to see her since she and ruth left for texas and aruba today (lucky ducks). Then i slept over at katie and stephens so my grandparentals wouldn't be freaking out about my well being. Their new flat is so nice and the area it is in is really cute.
I have to write my english paper today and then i might go on a london adventure by myself tomorrow. I want to go to the Tate Modern because I haven't been in a while. I actually really enjoy doing stuff by myself now, ever since the day I went shopping in georgetown alone...weird. Maybe I am actually growing up, it's abot time.
