Long story, but - does anyone have any good restaurants to recommend in Monticello, NY?

Thanks.

The Miss Monticello Diner is great!

I was going to recommend the Antrim Lodge up in Roscoe, but they're not done rebuilding after a 2006 fire, apparently. :-\

Let's put it this way... there is some concern that the party we're meeting would not want to lower himself by eating in a diner :)

Original arrangement was for Liberty, but Monticello seems the closest to me with some semblance of... stuff.

I'm checking with one of my contacts too... *raises eyebrow* :)

I would definitely recommend "Buona Fortuna" in Monticello for Northern Italian food. It is a bit pricey but the food is great. We also have a nice Korean Restaurant, Hana, which I would recommend as well. In Rock Hill, we have Dutch's which is a bar/restaurant. They have great burgers and other specials each day. Food is very good. We enjoy it.

"The Old Homestead" in Bridgeville ((5 minutes out of Monticello) is tops but they don't open until 4 PM. They are known for steaks but their menu has expanded to include a lot of other great food. By the way, there is no menu. The servers will tell guests what is in store for the day. Highly recommended but NYC prices. Let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks, Mark... that is perfect!

We are meeting my father-in-law halfway between his place and ours and his taste doesn't quite extend to diners. :) I really appreciate your help!
