(no subject)
hmm... i am so bored i am actually going to update my lj! lol... going home tomorrow. v excited; just cant wait to be home. its been ages - 10 weeks i think. i probably should be writing one of my essays, but i really cannot be buggered to do so. woo... only 2 hrs till supper! then i will have something to do! + i am actually really hungry. reckon i'll probs go to bed staight after sups. mm... i love sleep!
just went to NIAB which is where im gonna be working in the summer... i have a summer project :D. hehe... basically, im gonna be sequencing a gene! depending on how much time, it'll be 1 or 2. how cool is that? pls tell me someone thinks its exciting... basically, im gonna have to do dna/rna extraction, then pcr, then remove the primers... and i cant remember the rest of it. but i think it should be really amazing! (apart from the fact that its on barley... i mean, its not *that* bad, but pretty much anything else would be a more interesting organism, tho i guess since im looking at genes, the organism level doesnt really feature). anyway, the person there was thinking id do this for 10 weeks... wow... i thot it was gonna be 6! or so i was told when i applied... but basically, slight problem is that shes going away in the middle, so i might have to split it up... and then i duuno if im going to go to borneo! really need to make up my p-sized brain.
ladeeda... i am so bored. i have dvds i could watch, but they're series, so if i start, im gonna end up watching loads and i dun wanna watch lots... this is ridiculous! what can i do? im totally packed - well as far as i can be, seeing as tomorrow i need to do laundry and pack duvet etc.... so i cant even entertain myself packing. the internet is boring me... damn it! this is just stupid - so busy during term, and now that its over, nothing to do! well loads of work, but who wants to do that? mind you, that is a point... i *could* read some lecture notes... but thats just really desperate. mwah. sheesh my lj must be so boring... its always me whinging abt something or other. wish i could find something "jolly" to say. :P ok. i think i'll stop writing pointless drivel now...
