spring quarter update
life has been good, for the most part.
-kid's choice awards: ryan took me as his guest! our seats in the nosebleed section sucked, but after hanging around pauley pavilion for several minutes, we were able to catch glimpses of celebs such as paula abdul (she waved at me!), queen latifah, nick cannon, lil romeo, alyssa milano, and simple plan
-trip to santa monica! sammy and i hauled our lazy butts to the beach along with ryan, minji, judy, and roxy. we played 20 questions on the way to the bus and built this fatty hole in the sand for judy to fall into. but alas, we failed!
-road trip with rita, wendy, monica, and tom to SD! highlights included naked juice, bobcats, honey, tijuana (actually, nix that), wacky sleepovers, and la jolla shores!
-hip hop today. around 10 people on my floor are taking the class, and big groups are always fun. i can do a quasi-body roll now!
-tomorrow is the worker's strike at UCLA, which means no dining hall food. that'll give me an excuse to splurge in westwood =)
-on friday and saturday, i am attending and volunteering for the california democratic convention!! that means working in the finance department, dressing up in business attire, caucuses, after-caucus parties, ANDDD the howard dean dinner! (although i'd still prefer the dianne feinstein luncheon) thank goodness for connections.
