My heart may be broken soon
So if you know me pretty well, you probably know my love for Antti Niemi, the Blackhawks' goalie throughout the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Niemi is the one who Patrick Kane jumped on after Kane scored the winning goal for the Cup XD
For the last month or so, I was certain Niemi was safely still on the Blackhawks. But today I was watching TV with my parents and the news show we were watching said that they kept Hjalmarsson. I was happy for a moment. And then they said that with the trade caps, keeping Hjalmarsson may make it hard to keep Niemi with the salary caps.
It started with Buff and then so many. Stupid salary caps. I think I understand the caps's importance but the team I grew to love is being broken up.
I am not sure how I got so attached but I will cry if he leaves. But until that moment, I will hold onto hope.
