Sagas!
So due to being quite bored at work (efficiency appears to come at the price of having nothing to do at the end of the week) I've been converting Beowulf into a saga that I can use at Outcast when I get to it.
Naturally that means I'm a bard.
So here's my question, does anyone know any sagas, old poems and stories that might be suitable for bastardisation before I get to an event see the players and start writing my own about them?
Already on my list is
Song of Amergin
Spoils of Annwn
The Niebelungenlied (which is sidfried and brunhild and a whole load of others, this is MASSIVE and is getting split down into shorter stories because NO ONE wants to listen to me drone on for that long about anything)
I've also got a whole load of childrens stories with a celtic/viking feel because I hear that the kids are an integrated part of the system.
Also any orating tips? I'd quite like to be good at this.
