Today was...
surprisingly good considering I was rudely awakened by the telephone.
I wasn't feeling well this morning, so I woke up, took some medicine and went back to bed.
Then the next thing I knew, the telephone was ringing and it was 10:30. It turns out that in spite of the rudeness of the ringing, on the phone was one of my good friends that I haven't really been able to get in touch with over the year.
When she asked me to help her move some stuff into her apartment, of course I said yes. So she came to pick me up and then we went to her new apartment. Then we went to the mall and watched UP. It was adorable and surprisingly, the 3d glasses did not give me a headache.
We wandered the mall, and then I had my dad come to pick me up. He apparently was in the middle of running errands on a tight schedule, so we quickly went grocery shopping. This allowed me the opportunity to get coffee and a doughnut, adding to the surprising goodness of the day.
I had a new Entertainment Weekly waiting for me in the car and I came home and am currently watching a Bones rerun that I had missed the first time around.
