(no subject)
Oh, man. I feel like the biggest blob that ever was a life being, LOL. *streches above head* What a bum!!! ;-)
Since it is Martin Luther King Day, a day which is definitely worth celebrating (or not celebrating, but remembering and dwelling on), there is no school or work for anyone in this household (until 5PM :-D). So, I think we're taking Gabe bowling, which will be a lot of fun. He's so cute to watch bowl. :-) He throws the ball and almost throws himself along with it every time! Haha.
I am just exhausted! Well, perhaps not exhausted, but tired physically and mentally. Heck, emotionally and a little spiritually in there, too. I'm trying to draw as close to God as I can, and it's going well - He is so patient and understanding. More and more I'm finding that joy, coming to Him and getting to know my God better. I just haven't had a lot of time to dwell over the past few days, it seems. We (Sean and I) went to visit his family over the weekend, and just got back into town yesterday, where I went directly to work. It is nice to just WAKE UP and have nothing to do right off the bat. Except have coffee with my mommy. ;-) Although I've been thinking of switching to juice, as my caffiene level is shooting up there, LOL. Anyways, we had a really great time(this weekend), but I think it just takes a lot out of you, nonetheless! But it was really wonderful to be able to get to know his family better. They are absolutely wonderful people.
And on that note, it is so nice to draw genuinely close to people. :-) It is not something I take for granted in the slightest anymore. When you try to enjoy every moment like that, they go a lot slower, and seem much more meaningful. However, never are they long enough, I'm finding. But love - that is really somethin'.
*Sigh* Hope you all have a WONDERFUL day. :-) And actually, we have to take care of pine branches that fell down outside, due to the ice storm (or whatever the heck it was) last night. Well, that sucks. :-/ Oh, vell. Peace out, yo's!!
