(no subject)
Well, it's good to know that I can type! I say this because I slammed my fingers in the car door on my left (dominant) hand on Monday. It hurt so much, but my finger isn't so swollen and purple anymore. :>)
I can't believe the Man of La Mancha performances are next week! The pit has only rehearsed with the cast once, and it was just music, no blocking. It'll be good to get some free time on Mondays once the musical is over though, so I won't have to stay at the school until 8:30 at night. I think the show will be pretty good, but the worst part about the music is that we play the four main songs repeatedly, and it gets boring and annoying (because it goes from 6/8 to 3/4 every other measure for almost all of them) after a while. Also, the clarinetist is driving me up the wall, and I'm isolated so that I can't see the stage, and only she is next to me on my right.
On a better note, I watched a cool but old marching band video of Dartmouth High School Marching Band called the Pasadena of the Roses from 1995. I loved it! Everyone was in perfect step and had perfect rows, and were just very precise about everything, the ENTIRE TIME! It was simply amazing! :>D
