Here I am sitting in my kitchen listening to my mom vaccuming in the living room... it's a nice lazy sunday.... wishing my legs would stop hurting.
I need a hot tub... or a massage... or both, heh.
I used my legs way too much this weekend. Friday night I worked a shift, then went to Murphy's on Main street with Will from work and had a few shots and a beer, walked to the gallivan center where there was a relay for life thing going on for the american cancer society because hard rock had a team walking. I wasn't originally planning on going, but Kami bugged us enough and everyone else from work was heading down there. It turned out to be a pretty good time :)
The requirement was that someone had to be walking around this path that they madearound the gallivan center at all times... we had about 5 or 6 people walking from about 12 to 6 am because as Hard Rock Cafe employees, we're all a bunch of night dwellers. We were the majority on the track for most of the night. Haha I was drunk too and so were my coworkers, but not all of them...
I was walking around with a flask of jager in my pocket and a cup of jager and cherry pepsi (so yummy by the way) in my hand for like 3 hours while talking to this guy Roger who's like 20 years old and from Layton. He was the only person that was there that didn't know anyone working for the hard rock. It was nice to get to know him because to be honest we had all thought it was pretty funny how gung-ho he is about hard rock cafe stuff. He comes in at least once a week wearing this bomber jacket covered in hard rock pins, sometimes with his girlfriend that looks like 12, wearing the full pink hard rock skort and tshirt set that they're selling right now... it's just wierd to see people actually spending that much money at that place. He is a little strange, but nice enough. We talked about ROTC in high school and about random things... I was mostly just rambling along with him because I'm good at that. Good times...
The best part was when punk boy Austin decided to pick me up and carry me on his shoulders for a few laps around. I was worried that I'd be too heavy to be carried that much, but he said that I don't weigh anything compared to the backpack he used to carry when he was homeless. I'm not saying I'm heavy by any means though, heh. I wegh 105 :p I'm tiny. I brought my camera and we took pictures :) Some of them are SO cute! I need to upload them to my gallery so i can share them with the other people at work <3 I like my coworkers lately because they're more like friends now, which is nice. It makes work much more bearable because you know that afterward, you'll all go out and have a good time doing something and the stress of the day will be gone and you'll get along again.
So yeah I was there walking around until about 7am when it was time for me to try to get some sleep before I had to go to work, heh. I'm so horrible to myself sometimes. I drove down to Austin and Jackie's place and went to sleep for 2 hours on the couch, and got up and went back to work for 12 hours, making that a total of... 24 hours of walking. Along with going up and down the stairs to the kitchen at work all day.... my calves are mostly what hurts, and the muscle that's in front of my shins. I should know what that muscles is called, heh. Oh well.
Oh man Saturday I was SOOO tired at work too. And partway through the day I had this table of hippy type people and they were pretty cool so I bullshitted with them for a while which I do with people that aren't lame. Then I went outside for a sec to go to my car and two of them were out there smoking... and they came up to me when I was on my way back to the car and told me that their friend inside thought I was cute and asked if I would consider getting to know him. I was so not in a mindset to be dealing with boys at my table liking me and i was trying not to be mean because I was tired and I hate being hit on at work by random dudes and their friends... so I told them that I don't date people that are my customers and that I get numbers a lot and some other random junk like that. So as I went in I remembered that said kid was a snaggle tooth boy which made it even more great because I couldn't even pretend that I was attracted to him just to save my tip... oi.
And THEN he got up to go to the bathroom or something and was gone for a while... and Amanda the merch girl asked me if I had notcied that he wasn't weraing any shoes... perfect. Yes! Who the hell goes to a restaurant not wearing shoes!? Ew. I was glad to have good reason to be like.... uhhhh... no thx. All I really had to do was go up to his friends at the table and be like... yeah... can you tell your friend that he needs to wear shoes while he's in the restaurant... and I was covered. They left me his number with a note, heh. I threw it away. I know I'm mean, but whatever. Don't be a snaggle tooth trying to hit on me whilst barefoot at my work, heh.
Ok so I took a break from writing this and now it's Monday afternoon... I always end up doing this, heh. I take so long updating that by the end of my entry it's been a day and there's even more to write about. God I didn't even say all that much because I like to ramble... yep. well I'll post this and start on my next one so that by the time I'm done it'll be another few days from now. :p
see you then!
