Well, there I was driving home on Friday from work...and a black cat ran across in front of my car, vanishing into the brush on the other side of the road in but a few moments. 'Well', I said to myself, 'My path just got crossed by a black cat, scant days before Halloween. This just doesn't bode well does it?'. I chuckled a bit at that and drove on. After all, nobody beleives in that old saw anymore.
