I suppose this yard sale might be a good way to get some of these old paintings sold. I'd do baked goods, too, but I think Fai and some other people are already doing that. That's okay, of course, since it's their business.

Hm~ If I do get some money out of this, maybe I can buy something nice for myself or Sou-chan or Yuki-chan ♥

Kio? Might I be able to ask your assistance in preparing consumables for the yard sale?

You mentioned considering baked goods, for example, but intended to leave the sales to the professionals -- I certainly respect that thought; in order not to compete for financial resources with the businesspeople, I hope to give away the cookies I'm making as a gesture of friendly welcome from the government and because I'm fairly certain no one would buy them.

But I seem to be encountering some difficulty in leveling the gingerbread dough properly and I am completely covered in flour, and the tips of the little hats tend to scorch, though the little badge-stars seem to be adhering.

Also, I thought it might offer a certain symmetry, given the (ahem) abruptness of my first attempt at soliciting your aid in culinary endeavors. I truly have been studying since then, in more ways than one...

Thank you, Kio. I promise that there will be no kidnappings to the grocery store this time, and no assaults upon the ingredients -- the battery does seem to remain necessary, though I've learned a technique that appears to reduce the amount of flour distributed about the room and about one's person.

I'm looking forward to it. It'll be like the old days, but less messy and trauma-prone... :3
