After posting last night, I went and sat in a hot tub under the stars. Just sayin.
Today started off nice and slow, and then we headed out for a whale watching cruise. It was nuts, we saw a sperm whale, as well as a whole pod of dusky dolphins, tons of fur seals and some random birds to make it all worthwhile. It was amazing. Afterwards, we went to a lovely little winery for lunch and then had a longish drive down to Christchurch, where I wandered around the city by myself for a few hours. Pretty good time overall!
