Today started off on a bad foot, but hopefully those silly bad feet won't be the parts I remember. Today started off cool and rainy, much like the past two days... not so great, as most of the stuff we were supposed to do was outdoors. Ah well. We went to the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, which was pretty incredible... the area that we are currently in is incredibly thermally active, so there are geysers and steam vents and mud pools everywhere. This particular place has a lot of sulphur and other other organic compounds that leach out, making the water and rocks turn amazing colors... I had trouble believing that some of the pools came by their colors naturally! The most amazingly vivid yellows, greens and oranges.. it was nuts. We also went to the Honey Hive (or something to that effect) where I bought a ton of honey. They tell me I will be able to get it back into the US, so here's hoping! I finally got to do some laundry, which is really a good thing. AND I am finally getting some pics up.. I'm doing it on facebook for now, just because I am pretty sure more people can see them that way, I will get more up on flickr later, but the uploader there seems to take longer. Not sure why! So go look at pics, there will be tons more coming - I've still got a few weeks!
