Oh, it was just marvelous! I giggled muchly, as I think I was supposed to do. Oh, poor them. *giggle* And oh my, must have been my first non-slash HP fic! XD

Hee! Thank you! I usually write slash, but every now and then, I delve into a little het. The "Ron and Hermione's really awkward first time" bunny was nibbling at my brain for ages before I wrote this. There's going to be a Harry/Ginny chapter and a Remus/Hermione chapter (yeah, I know...weird), and maybe some others, but I don't know who else to cover yet. The Weasley twins get their version told as well, but it's as part of a longer story called The Power of Two.

Oh dear. They are so not ready. Although, they have good sensible attitudes. Hermione should have done a little more research and brought some firewhiskey.

I've got the movie PoA playing in the background, and I think you've got the voices down very well, especially Ron's.

The other 'noises' they hear are first coming from the floor below and, at the end, are coming from the floor above. I couldn't tell if that was an error or if you meant that they were surrounded by people having sex.

This was sweet and funny and sad. I think it's good for us (adult readers especially) to remember how young these heros are.

Oops! When I originally wrote it, I had Ginny's room upstairs from Ron's, but on a recent re-read, I saw that Ron's room is just under the attic, so I guess I changed one reference, but not another. Thanks for the catch.

*laughs hysterically* Oh, my -- that was, by far, the most perfect description of first time sex I have ever read. The way you had them both was right in line with their characterizations, and the whole Hermione "I read about" thing had me in hysterics. The love was there too, palatable, right below the surface, and made the amusement of it all tempered a bit by the reason behind the act -- all in all, very nicely done.
