(no subject)
quick update: yes, school has started. senior year though! :) its been really good so far, i miss katrina and jasmine and all my other college friends too much but im dealing thanks to marie and katelyn. you know when people tell you senior year is the slack-off year? yeah, not so much... i have had more homework than any other year, but i guess thats what i get for taking honors. it all payed off today though: i got my first acceptance letter, to purdue! sure, lots of people get in there but it was still exciting. at least i know i have someplace to go.
I am also offically 18 now. wow, i can... get married, win the lottery, vote, buy cigarettes, all of which i plan to do soon. ok, so maybe i just registered to vote. feels strange to be considered an adult when i know at times im far from it. this was the best birthday i think i have ever had also. not only did i get exactly what i wanted gift-wise, my grandma came into town & we went out to olive garden on saturday night. little did i know, sunday i had a surprise party waiting for me :) ive never had one and even though not many people could come on such short notice, i still had most of the people closest to me there. i also got several deliveries of flowers and balloons from my best friend and a visit from her parents, my 2nd family. definitely a bday i will never forget...
the celebrating isnt over yet b/c katrina is coming into town this weekend!!! i am too excited for words. logan and i went and visited her 2 weekends ago but that was only for one day. this will be an entire weekend of which i plan on spending lots of time with her. all i know is tomorrow is going to be one long day waiting for the weekend... so far we have a movie, oc night, rugby match, and whatever else planned & i cannot wait!
