-- Line-up: It starts with new films -- "Persuasion" on Jan. 13, "Northanger Abbey" ♥ on Jan. 20, "Mansfield Park" on Jan. 27 and the film about Jane Austen's life, "Miss Austen Regrets," Feb. 3. That will be followed by two films made previously -- the mini-series "Pride and Prejudice" (Collin Firth) on Feb. 10, 17 and 24 and (following the pledge break) "Emma" (with Katie Beckinsale) on March 23. It concludes with a new "Sense and Sensibility" miniseries, March 30 and April 6.
-- Did you know?: The series comes during a transition for the venerable "Masterpiece Theatre." It's now simply called "Masterpiece," with a new host -- Gillian Anderson of "X-Files" and "Bleak House" -- and a new feel to its music and introductions.
