Forbidden Kingdom was quite good. It wasn't what I was expecting from the trailers I've seen, but it's definitely worth it if you're a fan of B-grade, cheesy martial arts humor and qīnggōng.
On that note, mini rant.
I'm dead silent when I watch a film. I laugh where appropriate and groan in shock where appropriate. Otherwise, you don't hear a peep outta me, which is why I HATE going to the theater with some of my friends or when it's crowded.
Why do people insist on commenting on what's transpiring on the screen like you're not seeing it and guessing how it's going to end or taking stabs at the Big Plot Twist? Just shut your mouth and watch. Don't ruin the experience for me and everyone else because you feel like you have to update everyone on what's going on in the movie WE'RE ALL VIEWING. It's obnoxious and annoying.
