It dawned on me this morning that my manager is crazy. Like, legit psycho-ex crazy, by her own admission! Jesus, I've learned so many things about my co-workers that I never wanted to know, from sex to drugs and back again. *does the "can't-wait-to-find-new-employment" jig*

I had my last in-class math test yesterday. Considering I crammed in the 45 minutes leading up to it I think I did pretty well. The professor flashed my average at me, too. I'm hanging steady at a C. Next Tuesday is the dreaded final. I passed last quarter by the skin of my teeth, so I'm going to really knuckle down and study properly. Of course I'll be ecstatic if I make a 70, but I want to try and aim a little higher this time around.
It's a shame my current professor isn't going to be teaching Math 99. He's a great instructor and I love his dry humor.

Next weekend, Blake is embarking on a treacherous journey to the wild and uncharted lands of Orlando to apply for a welding job at Disney. He invited me along and I am so down for a road trip. I'm sure we'll do more than pop into the employment office so he can drop off his application. What fun, non-theme park things are there? I'm pretty sure there's a Ripley's Believe It or Not we can run around in.

And finally, I want to put together a Henry/Eileen fanmix (after over a year of consideration) and I've only decided on three songs so far. Can any of you recommend some tunes that are appropriate for Henry, Eileen or the two of them together? It's not a 100% guarantee I'll use the song, but I'd appreciate the effort. :)

Man, this entry was all over the place. Unwind with a meme from ascenseur. When you see this meme, post a poem on your LJ.

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
