I'm officially a college student. It feels really good. First class yesterday went well, though a million things were nagging at me like whether or not I'd accidentally sit in on the wrong class or something, but it was not so. \o/
My instructor's a nice older woman and the class is on the small side with about 24 people, mostly women. We didn't do anything really major that first meeting; just went over the syllabus (which includes a handy quarter-long calendar with every lesson, homework assignment and chapter test so we can always be prepared) and took some notes. The instructor gave us homework, but it's no big deal. And I need to remember to pick up my book before class next Tuesday, and maybe schedule a tutorial to help me with multiplying and dividing big numbers. x_x
I've given my major some thought, too. I'm thinking of becoming a radio DJ. I'd love to work at a station that plays house, ambient, New Age, trip-hop or all of the above.
McCord is in town this weekend for his fall break and I'm so jonesed to see him. I don't think we've all hung out as a group since the end-of-summer party at Nick and Katherine's. Tomorrow we're planning on meeting for lunch before watching Zombieland later in the afternoon. After that? Sky's the limit!
This is looking pretty likely as my Halloween costume this year. For serious:
...Aaand I'm crushing on
this girl so hard.
