Placement test is done and doner. I aced the Reading and Writing portion, like, hardcore. Math? Not so much, but that's to be expected. I'll have to take remedial classes, but I don't mind. With numbers and all that mess I'll need as much help as I can get. It's always gone way over my head, with the exception of Pre-Algebra. Weird.
Registration's on the 31st and I don't head back to work until the first of September, so I should find some way to make something of these last few weeks of summer.

I've had a hankering to role play the movie version of the Other Mother from Coraline. One of Alex's friends plays Coraline at entranceway, but she takes her from the book, which I've never read. I have no interest in reading it, either, unless it expands on the Other Mother's characterization in a way that is just awesome. After all, Wybie was never in the book and he's a terrific addition to the film. If I couldn't play the Other Mother, I'd totally play Wybie.
To switch gears, I miss playing Eileen a lot. The more time passes, the more often I look at her journal and think about her time in a_trialbyfire; the people she met and the things she went through. I'm giving myself until close to the end of August to ruminate about whether I really and truly want to stick her back in the game or if it's just me being sentimental. I don't want to waste anyone's time by becoming disinterested or overwhelmed or whatever and take her out again.
