Saturday night was wonderful~ I couldn't have asked for a nicer birthday party. It just affirms how amazing my friends are. ♥
There was sunning and swimming at Joe's house (for whom it was his actual birthday -- we always do dual parties for same-month babies; also, note to self: GET MORE SUN!) followed by dinner at Longhorn's, then back to Joe's for cake and prezzies.
Abby gifted me with cruelty-free shower gel, lotion and body spray, while Tommy, Gayle and Katherine bought me the Guild Wars trilogy. :D McCord gave me a pretty card with the most touching message inside, along with a homemade coupon redeemable for one lunch date with him whenever I want. Joe got a good haul, too, including a $50 gift card, in the form of a slap bracelet, for Best Buy. Awesome.
And now, pictures and video from July 2009 thus far.

Joe's birthday cake! He jokingly got on to Katherine for spelling the phrase wrong. Or would that be spelling it right?
Aaand my cake! Modeled after the Halo of the Sun from the Silent Hill series. Hell yeah.

Dinner at Macaroni Grill. Joe got all dappered up courtesy of Katherine and some crayons.
"...And you must be the Monopoly guy!"
Katherine, Abby and Shino enabling each other.
Padalecki. I just can't help myself!
The leftover fudge from frosting Tim's cake. Jacqueline leaves a charming note behind.
We had hundreds of sparklers on hand, to the point where people were lighting dozens of them at a time.
Goddamn, I love Shino.
GODDAMN, I LOVE SHINO.
I was adamant on getting black snakes because I loved them as a kid, but these totally sucked and wouldn't grow like we wanted.
Girls in the mist.
A few chose to stay out of the fray, instead they laughed at the fools who got burnt from standing too close to a chrysanthemum burst.
