I went with Tommy and Gayle to this big costume emporium out in the middle of nowhere (a.k.a. Garden City) and they had what would've been the perfect 1940s-style bouffant wig. For forty-two dollars. After I had already spent thirty-three on a pair of peep-toe pumps. Pumps. I was not about to drop seventy dollars on this goddamn costume when I haven't even bought the bulk of the outfit yet.
This was going to be my next best bet, but Party City was out of them when I checked last night and their phone number's been busy for the past twenty minutes wtf. I'm going back tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath that it'll be in. If it is, I will do cartwheels through the store. EDIT: They're completely out, FFFFFFF. The Halloween Superstore by the mall's gonna get raped by me, too.
I'm so terrible. I always wait until the last week or two to get this stuff taken care of.
If all else fails, I can be the Red Dahlia and curl my own hair Jesus I hate being inaccuraaate why God why! :C If I hadn't dyed my hair earlier this month, I'd totally dye it black just for this occasion.
