ACCIDENT

Well all.... I have joined the club of paying out of the butt to the state of MI for a ticket as of this morning. Yep. I got into my very first accident and acquired my very first ticket in the process. Fortunately (or unfortunately, for those of you back-stabbing "friends") I am very well alive and not hurt at all.... but unfortunately, my car is hurt. It makes me sad to see my car in such pain.
Well.... I was driving down M-24 and was making my right turn onto Oakwood Rd. and the WONDERFUL driving conditions prevented me from making a complete 90 degree turn, it was more like a 45 degree turn right into a lady who was waiting to turn right onto M-24. I went into the back of her drivers-side door. Her vehicle was barely damaged, but like I said, mine, on the other hand, was injured very badly. the front end of it is pretty smashed, and I think that my parking lights have epilepsy or something, because they keep blinking really fast, until I turn my regular lights on. So there's some MORE expenses for me to pay... woooo hooo! *insert sarcasm here.* I'm just figuring (which I don't think should be the case) but the extreme case of if my damage costs more the my car did when I bought it, I'm just probably going to have to look for another car.  THIS SUCKS! Funny part of the story.... This afternoon, one of my managers, Deb, was making a call over to our finance center in Oxford, and she expected a lady named Linda to answer, but she didn't, a different lady did. So Deb asked where she was, and the woman explained that Linda had been in an accident on Oakwood road and they told her not to come into work. Moral of the story... I was the one who was involved in the accident with Linda, and neither of us realized that we were from the same bank!

Well, last night was great for me though. It was my 3 month anniversary with Jon, and the FIRST one we spent together. I went up to North Branch after work last night to stay the night up there at his house and he cooked me dinner! it was very delicious. He made me pot roast with taters and carrots with some biscuits. MMMM.
