Good Stuff
So I am now officially an intern at WDET-FM (101.9) Radio Station. Hot damn! Me and the other intern that got it are going down there on the 23rd to work out an official schedule. Pretty cool stuff. Looking forward to it. I don't know much about it yet, except for the fact that I'll be in the office on the weekdays (updating the website, doing some promotion stuff), and sometimes during the weekends I'll be at Detroit fairs and gatherings selling 101.9 T-Shirts and stickers. Marketing stuff with some writing involved. I forget some of the other things I was told about during the interview last week that I would be partaking in, some interesting stuff, though.
So Brad and I received 4th row center to the second DMB Columbus show! I was in fucking shock when I found out. So far, these are the best seats I've received from the warehouse with last year's 7th row Toronto show in second. New album out Tuesday, by the way...or you could actually listen to it now--it's leaked. I choose to wait 6 days, though.
Friday: Mini-Poker Tournament at my place. It's going to be around 8:00, we could push it an hour later though if someone can't make it until later on because of work (*gives a thumbs up to Mike, smiling like an idiot*). It'll be fun.
