Let's go Insurance Adjusters, Let's go!!

That commercial with Peyton Manning is hilarious. It's now taken over from that one US Cellular commercial with the guy randomely showing off his phone for no apparent reason as my new favorite commercial. Although that Desperate Housewives dealie before the game last night was pretty tight....

2 more days and I'm outta here. Had my marketing final today, which wasn't TOO bad. All I needed on that thing for O'Keefe to bump me up to the A- I don't deserve is an 81, and I looked everything over afterward and, sure enough, the worst I figure I did was exactly that 81. So that's good. Just have to tweak my management paper a little more and I'll have a guaranteed A in there. That leaves finance. Final on Thursday in there. Not worried at all about that thing.

Which also means I'm coming back home on Thursday for a ridiculous amount of time. I'll be back in Chicago for a few basketball games, but for the vast majority of the next month and a half I'll be home. So that means I need stuff to do at home. Anyone else gonna be around during break??

And Notre Dame now, since I haven't talked about it yet. First thing's first. I check my phone on Friday night to make sure it didn't need charging because that would really suck if it died on me. It didn't need charging. So I wake up early Saturday morning, get on the train, get to South Bend with no problems. There was a shuttle for 4 bucks that took us right to Notre Dame just a short walk from the stadium, so I hit that up. This is where things got really fun. I call my Aunt to tell her where and when to meet me, and then my phone makes this weird beeping sound. The battery was about to die. So I quickly spew out a bunch of random words. Like, meet me at the gate closest to the Joyce Center (basketball arena) in 30 minutes, I'll be there. Of course after I thought about it for a minute, that would have been impossible. Thousands of people in a big area with tons of stuff going on and I expected to find exactly 5 of them. Yeah, not gonna happen. This became very evident when I actually got there. So I'm pacing back and forth trying to figure out what to do next. I call home from a pay phone, tell my brother to call my uncle and tell him a new plan I pulled out of my ass (keep in mind this was about the 4th idea I had since I didn't realize they wouldn't let me call a cell phone from a pay phone, plus I didn't have anyone's number accessible since the phone was dead). I tell my brother to tell my uncle to meet me out in front of the library ASAP (yeah, the library with Touchdown Jesus....quite possibly the most famous college library in the country). So I walk over there, stand by this big fountain/pool that looked a lot like the one outside the Washington Monument. Anyway, after a few minutes I see my uncle, so everything good now. We walk around ND for awhile, then go into the stadium. Our seats were ridiculous. Like 10-15 rows directly above the band at about the goal line. The game was really strange. Nobody wanted to play defense, and none of the refs wanted ND to win. Stupid. Anyway, after the game was over we had some time to kill before my train left at 9:40, so we tried to go out to dinner at this pizza place; operative word TRIED. Ended up waiting for a table just long enough so that when they finally called our name my uncle had to drop me at the train station. So I had Wendy's while sitting in the station instead. Good enough for me. Train came, I went back to Chicago. End of day.

Packers won on Sunday somehow. A few major heart attacks avoided at the end of that game. Thank you Brett Favre. Houston looms next. We'll see how that one goes. So I'm done now. Doubt you'll hear from me until I'm at home, and nothing goes on there, so I doubt I'll be saying much over the next month and a half, but we'll see. I get bored a lot, and there's only so much I can look at over and over on that damn facebook. Addiction city. So I'm out. Have a good one, everyone.
