The few that weren't gotten:

3. Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. It's a dumb question... skip it.
"Airplane!"

5. The circuits which cannnot be cut locally are cut automatically in response to a terrorist attack. You asked for a miracle, I give you the FBI...
"Die Hard"

13. When you get the blanket thing, you can relax, because everything you could ever want or be, you already have and are.
"I Heart Huckabees"

14. I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?
"Stand By Me"

15. When it comes to reassuring a traumatized 19-year-old, I'm about as expert as a palsy victim doing brain surgery with a pipe wrench.
"Sin City"

Some were pretty obscure, but they're all highly recommended.

I haven't written anything personal in here for nearly 2 months, and a large part of that is because I've been content and pretty happy. Of course, the day before I have 3 or 4 major assignments due is when I come back to this, and again it's mostly because I'm feeling insecure about one thing or another.

I get the feeling I'll be a whole lot happier when I can learn to let things be and just accept things without questioning. That's against my nature; I want to know as much as I can about everything, not so I can be holier-than-thou, but to help myself understand how I can best apply myself or temper myself in order to make the best of things.

Presumptuous of me to assume I can judge and make important distinctions, perhaps. But my sense of ethics has rarely led me astray, and I sometimes don't feel like other people trust me as much as I do them.

It's minor. Probably me doing too much worrying again.

But I'm under a lot of stress. I've already missed a meeting, been late to a quartet rehearsal, and I have to study for a history exam, finish a theory assignment, and possibly have a percussion presentation ready for tomorrow. So my state of mind right now is somewhat cracked.

Hopefully this week will turn out fine anyways.
